Winter Holidays Crafts

Looking for some handcrafted ways to brighten up your holiday season? Want some tips for hosting a great party on a budget? Head over to your local library! You can find great ideas for making your own decorations, delicious easy recipes, and fun ways to bring the family together to create a personalized holiday celebration.

  • On December 3rd, McLoud Public Library is having a holiday craft event where participants get to make and take a festive ornament. The fun starts at 11 am. Please register by calling 964-2960.
  • You can also visit the Tecumseh Public Library on December 6th at 6:30 pm to learn and share great gift wrapping ideas. Tecumseh Library’s own Dana Taylor will be showing her fun and creative wrapping items!
  • Newcastle Public Library in hosting a holiday craft event for teens between 11-18 years old on December 7th from 3:30-5 pm. Participants will create their own amazing and delicious gingerbread house. Supplies provided just bring your imagination. Please register by calling 387-5076.
  • On December 8th, from 2-4 pm, join the fun of creating a "Blinged" Christmas ornament at Blanchard Public Library! Please register by calling 485-2274 as supplies and spacing is limited.
  • Head over to Purcell Public Library on December 12th from 10:30-11:30 am for a fun, interactive preschool storytime about Christmas and other winter holidays.
